- Number and type of work stations: depending on the size of the workshop, as well as the type of vehicles it services. In this phase the number and type of Bike lifts and work benches, the use of tool trolleys or Wall mounted grids are identified.
- Exhaust gasextraction system: in compliance with the statutory requirements, and with a view to making the workplace as healthy as possible, Bike-Lift supplies its customers a complete exhaust gas extraction system, which uses hose reels, extraction fans, chimney kits to keep the workshop air clean.
- Tyre department: in most large workshops a dedicated tyre changing corner is fitted with tyre changers and balancers, often used to deliver a “Rapid Service” for quick jobs.
- Special equipment: where required, for particular types of workshop, special equipment can also be installed, including: engine cranes, bearing presses , washing tanks or sanders.
- Spent oil disposal: every workshop has to comply with statutory requirements for the disposal of spent oil, and for this reason Bike-Lift includes a spent oil collection area in all its workshop designs. The area will be fitted with one or more collection drums and spill trays to prevent spillage and leakage during the oil change. Every work station will also have an ecotank to facilitate oil handling in the workshop.
- Professional tools: in a good workshop design attention to detail counts, and for this reason the Bike-Lift expert will offer a full range of professional tools and equipment suited to all the everyday tasks in a bike workshop: metric spanners and imperial spanners, screwdrivers, pliers, drills and other professional quality tools.
